Your looking at the view we are currently enjoying from this estate home in San Luis Obispo’s Edna Valley area that we are working at. This weeks project is a huge deck! 1520 square feet…

The 1500+ square foot deck is over a carport. The old deck system originally installed 20+ years ago had been limped along through the years but water got the best of her and eventually the 6×14″ beams holding up the edge of the deck rotted out…

Carroll Building Co. came in and repaired the deck and framing and Central Coast Waterproofing is providing all the flashings and Desert Crete to the deck. Carroll Building liked that our Desert Crete system is fire rated as a Class A roof coating/traffic system AND is also a One Hour rated assembly to when installe dover minimum 5/8″ plywood on 16″ on center joists. The 3/4″ plywood easily exceeds the minimum needed and the Desert Crete system was seen as a better choice over our competitors products.

We are not a cheaper choice, we are your better choice.

Better costs a little more, but when it’s a million dollar plus property or the deck on your home of more modest size, it’s worth more to have a better product on than a cheaper product…don’t you think?  Consider the advantages Desert Crete offers-ICC-ES approved, Traffic Coating in Division 7, a Class A and One Hour fire resistant assembly. Finishes can be done in limitless ways, conventional troweled finishes, faux tile, templates, acid stained etc.

If you agree that it’s worth a little more to get better, then we will work well together. We take the time to do it right, no piece work or job splits here. We pay our crew well, we give them the freedom and trust they need and provide the personal oversight from me the owner when we are on your job.
