We Support Local Businesses
CENTRAL COAST WATERPROOFING
SUPPORTS THESE LOCAL BUSINESSES!
One of my goals as owner of Central Coast Waterproofing is to support local business. I believe that keeping our business here on the central coast is very important and to that end, I seek to purchase, as much as I can, our supplies, materials, vehicles, tools etc. from vendors right here in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County.
Why? It helps keep our dollars here, helps employ local workers and it’s good for us, you and them!
I support and purchase from these excellent local business-please support them too! Tell them we told ya!
We purchase paints, tools, deck coating supplies and miscellaneous items from Miners. With 6 stores around the area, we can usually find a Miners hardware store within 10 minutes drive from our job location. I have found Miners to have great salesmen on the floor, who know what and where and how stuff works.
When we need custom sheet metal such as copper or stainless steel flashings made, I always look to Mike and Lew at Midland Sheet Metal to come through for me. Their customer service is great, their staff are top notch sheet metal fabricators and we are glad to support this local business.
Our Ford trucks come from Perry Ford right here in San Luis Obispo. I’m very glad to have worked with Mark Red Eagle and be able to purchase my truck. Easy to work with, no high pressure sales, I recommend Mark to be the one to see and buy your next truck or car.
DIBUDUO & DEFENDIS INSURANCE AGENCY
Local agent Jeff Priolo covers our butts with Automobile, Workers Compensation and General Liability insurance. With one local call, Jeff takes care of my questions and concerns, gets me additional insured certificates for my clients and is there when I need my agent. Please call Jeff too for your next insurance quote.
On E Boone Street in Santa Maria is Sawyers, a local building materials supply house. We buy our metal lath for our deck systems as well as staples and stucco materials. Jose and Donna are always welcoming and helpful. They load my truck with materials and make sure the lath and staples we depend upon are always in stock!
VALERIE SPENCER-GRAPHIC DESIGNER/WEB SITE DESIGN
When my website, www.deckexpert.com needed an updated design, look and easy navigation, I turned to Valerie Spencer of HumanSkin.net. In a short time, Valerie took my ideas and dreams and put them into motion, coming up with our new website. With over 6,000 visitors per month, Valerie’s optimization of the site for mobile and computer based devices makes us easy to find on the web, we look great and so does her work!
Recognizing that clean, affordable housing is out of reach for many hard working people in San Luis Obispo County, we support Habitat for Humanity San Luis Obispo passionately! By purchasing materials at ReStore, their used materials shop, donating items when we can to be resold, we help keep perfectly good stuff out of landfills. Recycling is good for you, for us and the environment.
Central Coast Waterproofing also supports Habitat for Humanity by donating time and labor along with donated decking materials from our supplier to help build Habitat homes. We’ve helped out on two projects, on Traffic Way in Atascadero in 2008 and again at Longbranch and 5th Street in Grover Beach in 2009.
Please support Habitat for Humanity too!
Moving from Bank of America to Heritage Oaks was one of the happiest moments in my life. The staff at Heritage Oaks are wonderful and the service is local and personal. One day I forgot to transfer money over to the payroll account; I had wrote the checks, my guys were looking to cash them. My banker called me and said there’s no money in that account. Looking quickly at my cash account, they knew I had the money. The bank let my guys cash their checks while I jumped on my computer to make the transfer. That’s service that keeps me as a customer! See Ann Champagne at the Santa Rosa St branch, tell her I told you!
Located on Sacramento Drive, JP Tool Repair keeps our equipment earning it’s keep. They can fix any tool it seems, so stop by and get yours fixed too. Tell Jim or Janet you heard about them here!
